Rent Casa Stupenda – Borgo Egnazia Italy
Holiday Home Rental Description
Situated in the stunning Borgo Egnazia, an opulent and purpose-built village in the enchanting heart of Puglia, Italy, Casa Stupenda is a delightful 3-bedroom villa that epitomizes the essence of comfort and Italian charm. Accommodating six guests, Casa Stupenda enjoys Borgo Egnazia’s unrivalled sense of magic and glamour, including a Michelin-starred restaurant, four pools, three bars, two private beaches, and a spa. Architect Pino Brescia’s construction of a traditional Puglian ‘borgo’ – or fortified village – is a symphony of golden tufa limestone accented by vivid bougainvillaea. Egnazia boasts a masseria, paved streets and arcades, a church, a central piazza, and several stone cottages and villas. Stepping into Casa Stupenda, spread over three storeys, a spacious living room of plush sofas, accent armchairs, a guest bathroom, a TV, and an audio system greets guests. Adjacent guests will find a sumptuous dining area complete with a stone fireplace. The ground floor also boasts a fully equipped kitchen where culinary enthusiasts can toss together a Mediterranean salad or prepare a holiday feast for family and friends. Descending to the lower ground floor reveals another cosy living area, including a dining table/games table and a home cinema system with plush sofas you can sink into. French doors open onto a magnificent citrus garden and private courtyard. Bordering this fantastic entertainment area is a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom (walk-in shower). An extra room on the lower level can be used as a studio or a massage room. Ascending to the first floor reveals two more bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a king-size four-poster bed, TV, walk-in closet, and an ensuite bathroom with a double sink, double shower, and a separate tub. Across the way is another double bedroom with a double bed, TV, small studio/walk-in closet, and an Ostuni stone ensuite bathroom with tub. One of Casa Stupenda’s most enchanting features is its picturesque outdoor spaces, including a panoramic terrace, Mediterranean garden, gazebo with an al fresco dining setting, and a private swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers – an ideal spot for sipping a glass of local wine as the sun sets in a blaze of colours. Beyond Casa Stupenda, guests have access to the exclusive amenities of Borgo Egnazia, including a world-class spa, a championship golf course, and various dining options. Your stay in this charming villa promises an unforgettable escape into the heart of Puglia’s beauty and Egnazia’s renowned hospitality.

Set serenely near the seaside town of Savelletri on Puglia’s Adriatic coastline, Egnazia is tucked between the ruins of an ancient Roman settlement (from which it takes its name) and the magnificent San Domenico championship golf course. Of course, Puglia is renowned for its stunning sea and warm, white-sand beaches. And Egnazia boasts two private beaches, one sandy, one pebbly. Stroll through the golf course to the sea or take a free shuttle bus to a secluded, rocky cove, great for swimming. The Cala Masciola Beach Club also has a restaurant and bar to keep you going between dives in the sea. Egnazia also boasts four stunning pools (in addition to the private pool in Casa Stupenda). Dive into a different pool daily, drink an aperitif at a different bar every afternoon, and dine at a different gourmet restaurant every evening. Despite a raft of amenities that encourage guests to relax, there are plenty of options for staying active. Not including the pools and private beaches, the sprawling golf course, tennis courts, and the scenic local surrounds are easily explored on foot or bicycle.
