The villa features an equally elegant dining and kitchen space, with modern and stylish furniture and appliances that will cater to your every need during your stay. Amenities include an oven and electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and dishwasher, plenty of cookware, crockery and utensils. The villa also has a washing machine, perfect for those who want to pack a little lighter and save some room in their luggage for those all-important souvenirs.
Villa Migjorn’s elegant and stylish design is carried through into its spacious bedrooms, with three doubles on the ground floor. Each room has cosy beds for a restful night’s sleep and beautifully crafted furniture. Two of the ground-floor bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, and there is a third separate bathroom for added convenience. The villa’s first floor is home to a grand master suite featuring a large double bed and an ensuite bathroom. The views from here are breathtaking, and guests can step out onto a delightfully furnished terrace to enjoy them to the fullest – it’s the perfect spot for a morning cuppa or a relaxing nightcap.
Villa Migjorn features an outdoor dining terrace and barbecue, ideal for enjoying alfresco family meals, and a large private pool surrounded by loungers. Guests staying at the villa will spend many relaxing hours taking in the incredible views, cooling off in the water, or reclining with a good book and a delicious drink in this little slice of Menorcan heaven.Villa Migjorn’s prime hilltop location offers guests the very best panoramic sea views, with Son Bou beach and the town centre around 1km away and accessible by steps. It’s worth noting that the hill is quite pronounced and could prove extremely daunting for children – especially in the heat – so a car is recommended to enjoy your surroundings to the fullest.
Son Bou beach is one of the longest stretches of sand on the island. It features elevated timber walkways over the dunes that provide easy access for pushchairs, prams and wheelchairs, making it popular with visitors with small children and those with limited mobility. Even though the beach can get busy during the summer months and does have areas that naturists frequent, there’s enough space that it should be easy to find a quiet spot to set up for the day and enjoy the clear, shallow waters and soft sands. You’ll find plenty of family-friendly amenities here, such as lots of on-duty lifeguards, a first-aid post, a sun lounger and parasol hire, and a wide range of water sports activities that the whole family can enjoy.
You’ll find Club san Jaime near Son Bou beach, which is open from late morning until early evening and features some exciting water slides that the kids (and the adults!) will enjoy. Excellence Luxury Villas recommends spending an hour or so here on a hot day. It’s great fun and very reasonably priced.
If you head into the centre of Son Bou, you’ll find several good supermarkets, ideal for those who are self-catering, as well as plenty of places to buy well-priced trinkets and souvenirs. There are also ATMs, a good taxi rank, and an excellent bus service available if you want to travel a little further afield to Santo Tomas, which is also accessible along the coastal path if you fancy the walk. Santo Tomas is a slightly quieter resort than Son Bou, and this beautiful village is popular with families with young children. The resort is a nature-lovers paradise that features gorgeous remote beaches, countryside walks and cycling tracks – ideal for those who want to get away from it all and enjoy all of the beauty and peace this island offers.At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
